Getting started
What is the difference between ABA and IBI?
ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) is the therapeutic approach. IBI (Intensive Behavioural Intervention) is a more intensive version of ABA delivered for more hours per week. Both use the same evidence-based principles.
How long does therapy typically last?
The duration depends on your child's individual goals and progress. Some children benefit from therapy for a few months, while others continue for years. We review progress regularly and adjust the plan as needed.
Do you accept insurance?
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly about coverage. Many extended health plans cover speech therapy and occupational therapy. We can provide receipts for you to submit for reimbursement.
Can therapy happen at home?
Yes. We offer both in-centre and in-home services across Milton, Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington. Many families prefer in-home for convenience and real-world practice.
How much does therapy cost?

Child development
What are signs my child might need speech therapy?
Common signs include limited speech, difficulty being understood, trouble following directions, challenges with social communication, or feeding/swallowing concerns. A speech therapist can assess your child and provide guidance.
Is it too early or too late to start therapy?
It's never too early to seek support if you have concerns. Early intervention can be highly effective. It's also never too late — people of all ages benefit from therapy.
Will my child "outgrow" their speech or language delay?
Some delays do resolve naturally, while others benefit from professional support. A speech assessment helps determine if your child is on track or would benefit from therapy.
What should I do if my child has been diagnosed with autism?
Reach out to us for a free consultation. We'll discuss your child's strengths and needs, explain your options, and help you build a plan. Early intervention is often beneficial.

Are your therapists registered?
Yes. Our Speech-Language Pathologists are registered by Speech-Language & Audiology Canada. Our Behaviour Analysts are registered with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board. All staff are trained, experienced professionals.
Will my child have the same therapist?
We do our best to provide consistency and build a strong therapeutic relationship. If you're working with an individual therapist, they will be your primary contact unless scheduling requires flexibility.
Do you work with other providers?
Yes. We believe in collaborative care. We communicate with schools, physicians, other therapists and families to ensure consistent, coordinated support.
Camps & groups
What age groups do the camps serve?
Our camps serve children ages 5–16 with autism and developmental needs. Specific age breakdowns vary by camp session. Contact us for details on the current session you're interested in.
Do you offer school-year social skills groups?
Yes. Our Social Skills Group meets regularly during the school year, offering ABA-based peer learning. We also offer a Cooking Academy. Contact us for current schedules and registration.
Are camps integrated or specialized?
Our camps are specialized ABA-based programming for children with autism and developmental needs. Small group sizes and trained staff ensure every child can participate and grow.
