As our language begins to develop, early spatial concepts such as in front of, behind, top, bottom, over, under, last, between, farthest, backward, in, on, etc, help us understand directions more precisely, ask detailed questions, and express our ideas to others. \u201d (Source:<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.superduperinc.com\/handouts\/pdf\/240_SpatialConcepts.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spatial Concepts and Relationships<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">)<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Why is it important for a child to learn them?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe words that define relationships in space are vitally important because they are part of the basic framework for future learning.
